چکیده

Background: In the world, great importance is attached to intensification of plants. To date, most medicinal plants are only partially used. case Colchicum autumnale L. currently mainly corms used for extraction alkaloids. The purpose this study was investigate use perspective plant reported from area. This article examines anatomy and phytochemistry leaf corm C. autumnale, which grown as a crop in Uzbekistan. Methods: leaves were fixed 70% ethanol according generally accepted method; transverse paradermal sections examined on material. When studying anatomical features leaf, preparations formed by manually cutting section observed MOTIC V1 microscope. slides stained with glycerin jelly having safranin. Cells tissues measured using micrometer MOB-15. determine amount alkaloids contained corms, chemical analysis carried out laboratory Institute Chemistry Plant Substances. Results: On stomata anomocytic type, 2-3 rows parenchyma palisade cells, characteristic size stomata. root structure consists 4-5 corolla, 4 protoxylems 1 metaxylem, presence rhomboid calcium oxalate crystals its feature species. As result composition conditions Tashkent region, it that aerial part colchicum, 0.4% 0.14%. Conclusion: current work sought resolve taxonomic issues involving species share majority their physical characteristics clarify relationships between important taxa utilizing epidermal characteristics. analysis, revealed introduced region (Uzbekistan), higher than natural regions. proves Uzbekistan possible grow obtain high-quality raw materials. Phytochemical studies and cytotoxicity evaluations of Colchicum tunicatum Feinbr and Colchicum hierosolymitanum Feinbr (Colchicaceae): two native Jordanian meadow saffrons.

As a part of our continuing investigation of Jordanian Colchicum species, the biologically active components of Colchicum hierosolymitanum Feinbr and Colchicum tunicatum Feinbr (Colchicaceae) were pursued. The brine shrimp lethality test (BSLT) was used to direct the fractionation and isolation of active components. Five and four known colchicinoids were isolated and characterized from C. tunic...
